Dr. William R. Monks
Dr. Monks grew up in Southfield Michigan and graduated from Wayne State
University in 1977. He attended the University of Dentistry and graduated in
1982. Dr. Monks is very skilled in many phases of general dentistry and has
particular interest in the fields of adult orthodontics (Six Month Smiles),
oral surgery and implant placement and restoration. He has participated in
many continuing education courses through the University of Detroit-Mercy,
the Engel Implant Institute and the Zimmer Institute in Carlsbad California.
He is committed to the oral health and well-being of all of his patients and
seeks to continue learning the latest dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Monks is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan
Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society and Macomb County Dental
Society.
Outside of the office Dr. Monks likes to participate in running, fitness,
home improvement, gardening and relaxing with his pets.
Dr. Rose Ann J. Bartnik
Dr. Bartnik is a native of the east side of Detroit. She Attended the
University of Detroit where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1979 with a
degree in Biology. She aspired to become a dentist ever since a childhood
experience with a kind oral surgeon convinced her that dental treatment need
not be frightening. Dr. Bartnik fulfilled her dream of becoming a dentist
upon graduation from the University Of Detroit School Of Dentistry in 1983.
Dr. Bartnik is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan
Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society and Macomb County Dental
Society. She is a graduate of the Engel Implant Institute and has also been
trained at the Zimmer Institute in Carlsbad California. She believes in
providing patients with as many in office services as possible but works
with a trusted network of specialists when need warrants. Dr. Bartnik
focuses most of her continuing education in the two areas of endodontics
(root canals) and implants.
Laurie - Hygenist
Laurie has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for many years. She provides
gentle but comprehensive oral hygiene and strives to make your visit
enjoyable and comfortable. Laurie's many years of clinical experience allow
her to tailor a treatment strategy that is best suited to your individual
needs.
Bernie - Insurance Coordinator
Bernie has been in the dental profession for over 25 years. Bernie
brings her knowledge of both clinical and front desk experience to help our
patients maximize their dental benefits. Bernie is always up for the
challenge that is presented by the ever changeing world of insurance
benefits. If you have any questions regarding your insurance benefits,
Bernie is the one who can get you the answers! Bernie also oversees
scheduling of appointments for new and existing patients.
Heather - Patient Coordinator
Heather is our patient coordinator and a member of the front office team.
She assists with billing and insurance questions as well as scheduling
appointments. She is well-versed in treatment plan presentations and helps
certain patient's understand the sequence of their care.
Meagan - Clinical Assistant
Megan has been a dental assistant for more than 7 years. She enjoys working
with adults and children to ensure they have a comfortable and stress-free
visit while at the dentist. With her ready smile and kind demeanor, she
makes certain that you will find your dental appointment as pleasant as
possible. Meagan insures that you and your family are in great hands with
Dr. Monks and Dr. Bartnik.
